The AMMS has a rich history of military modelling here in Alberta, Canada. The show actually started in Bragg Creek, AB as the Alberta AFV Modellers show in 2002. The show has evolved and grown, and we begin to celebrate out 18th year anniversary in 2020 we extend our invitations to you and all your modelling subjects that are military related.
Once again the Alberta Military Modellers Show will be held at the Chapelhow Legion Branch #284 located at 606 38th Avenue NE, Calgary, AB on September 12, 2020. Doors open at 9:30 a.m.
FROM THE NORTH
Take Highway #2 (Deerfoot Trail) South to McKnight Blvd and head West. Turn onto Edmonton Trail Southbound, then turn East (left) onto 38th Avenue NE. The Legion parking lot is located at the end of the street.
FROM THE SOUTH
Take Highway #2 (Deerfoot Trail) North to either 32nd Avenue OR McKnight Blvd head West until you reach Edmonton trail. For both options turn South onto Edmonton trail, then turn East onto 38th Avenue NE. The Legion parking lot is located at the end of the street.
The Legion also provides a great selection of food choices through their kitchen. All money generated through food purchases stays with the Legion.
An ATB machine is located within the Legion facilities. Though there will be an ATB machine available we do strongly encourage everyone to bring cash and plan ahead.
Entry Fees are $15.00 for unlimited entries for adults.
Children under 18 are FREE.
